The Challenge
The project required a scalable e-commerce platform capable of supporting Active Fitness Store's presence across multiple regional markets, including Sharjah, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. In addition to the customer-facing shopping experience, the team needed a way to manage website content and create new sections independently without relying on developers for every update.
The Solution
I worked on the UI/UX and frontend development of the platform using React, integrated with a Laravel backend. A custom management console was also developed to give the internal team greater control over the website. The console includes a flexible page-building experience similar to a Shopify-style page editor, allowing the team to create, arrange, design, and update website sections independently. This helped make the platform more flexible, scalable, and easier to manage across different regional markets.
